Constellation Energy Reviews

Constellation Energy receives many positive reviews about its rates and rewards program. However, some customers were dissatisfied with the company’s renewal process and renewal rates.

Positive Experiences:

“I chose Constellation for my electricity in my new apartment in Texas. Their website is so user-friendly, and they have reward points you can use for gift cards and other things.”

— Brenda J., 2025, Google

“I’ve been with Constellation for many years. They have great customer service and great rates. I'm am enjoying the rewards for my bucks.”

— Gilberte B., 2025, Google

Negative Experiences:

“They get you in by giving you a moderately low rate, but their renewal rates are VERY high. They also automatically renew you for a full month. When my contract was about to expire, I could not renew on the exact contract end date because it was on a Sunday. The new company and Oncor could not transfer service until the next business day, so Constellation auto-renewed me and then charged me the "early" cancellation fee - for 1 day. There are too many companies to choose from out there for me to have to use them or recommend them ever.”

– Kat, 2025, Google

“Terrible Experience – Still No Service After Days! I signed up for service with this company on 04/17/25 and was told my connection would be set up either the same day or the following day. It’s now been over 3 days, and I STILL don’t have power at my house. I’ve been left completely in the dark—literally and figuratively. No updates, no follow-up, just empty promises. This level of service is unacceptable and extremely disappointing. I expected better. If you’re thinking of signing up, be warned: reliability is clearly not their strong suit.”

– Farnaz N., 2025, Google
