Established in 1916 as Lubbock’s primary electricity provider, Lubbock Power & Light (LP&L) has been the trusted source for over a century, serving the needs of the city’s 250,000+ residents. On January 2024, Lubbock will transition to a deregulated market, empowering Lubbock residents to choose their electric provider.
